The VPC-5600S recently won the COMPUTEX d&i Award and the Taiwan Excellence Award, and AAEON’s network security division product manager, Josh Chen, has called it “the perfect surveillance system.” AAEON is currently the only company offering an NVR with eight PoE ports with individual LAN chips. With this hardware specification and the device’s 7th Generation Intel® Core™ processor, users will receive the highest quality images from multiple sources without the risk of data loss. With an additional four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two LAN ports, the VPC-5600S can support up to 14 high-end surveillance cameras.
The VPC-5600S’s smart PoE function also gives users the advantage of saving time and money on maintenance. If any camera or sensor connected to the system is not working as expected, you can remotely check and reboot it. Even if peripherals stop working entirely, the rest of the network will continue to function smoothly. Additionally, because voltage and current information from each connected sensor can be sent to the cloud for analysis, the system also serves as an effective IoT gateway device.
This rugged, fanless device has a guaranteed operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C and a DC input range from 10V to 36V. It has comprehensive storage options including two 2.5” HDD/SSD Trays and an mSATA slot, along with easy-to-install expansion modules that allow users to quickly and cost-effectively add additional display or COM ports. Integrated GPS and GLONASS, along with CAN bus support and an anti-vibration design, also make this system ideal for in-vehicle applications.
