The Intel® RealSense™ D400 Series Depth Cameras utilize stereo vision to calculate depth. The D415 is a USB-powered depth camera that includes a pair of depth sensors, an RGB sensor, and an infrared projector. It’s ideal for makers and developers adding depth perception to their prototyping process.
The depth camera includes:
- A powerful vision processor using 28 nanometer (nm) process technology and supports up to 5 lanes of MIPI Camera Serial Interface 2 for real-time depth image computation and accelerated output.
- New advanced stereo depth algorithm for accurate depth perception and long range.
- An image sensor set allows for capturing disparity between images of up to 1280 x 720 resolution.
- Support for the open-source, cross-platform Intel® RealSense™ SDK 2.0.
- Dedicated color image signal processor for image adjustments and scaling color data.
- Active infrared projector to illuminate objects to enhance 1 depth data.
- The Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera D415 is designed to best fit your prototype. With a rolling shutter image and narrow field of view (69.4° x 42.5° x 77°), the Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera D415 delivers high depth resolution when object size is small and more accurate measurements are required.
